With a career and life story spanning multiple decades, industries, and islands, Tim Huie brings unmatched depth and perspective to the world of private money lending and real estate investment. As the founder and CEO of TH Capital Funding, Tim is more than just a financial expert he’s a dedicated partner committed to helping investors achieve long-term wealth through smart, strategic funding solutions.
A Lifetime of Experience, A Legacy of Growth
Born in San Francisco, California on July 22, 1944, Tim’s journey has been anything but ordinary. He attended Redding Grammar School, Marina Junior High (Class of ’58), and Lowell High School (Class of ’61) before continuing his education at Westminster College in Salt Lake City, Utah, City College of San Francisco (’65), and San Francisco State College.
Tim’s early career began at PC Services, a subsidiary of the Pacific Coast Stock Exchange, where he first developed his interest in business operations and systems. After relocating to Maui in 1974, he joined Maui Land & Pineapple Company in their Information Services department, a role that combined technology and corporate infrastructure in a setting as beautiful as it was dynamic.
Never one to stop learning, Tim returned to academia and earned a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Hawaii – West Oahu (’02), followed by an MBA from the University of Hawaii Manoa (’05). His passion for business and problem-solving eventually led him to a successful 11 year tenure with DTRIC Insurance Company as an Information Services Specialist.
